These are some dates for the diary of events that GLADD has planned for members in 2007, some are for members only and some are with other organisations and professional groups.
January
We'll be kicking off the new year in style with our first joint social event with the Royal College of Nurses OUT Group. The New Year party is always a packed out occasion and this year it will be no exception with music, food and plenty of wine....Jan 26th is the date and details are available from the secretary.
February
Our student weekend is going to Edinburgh this year, with two days of fun, friendship and socialising in Scotland's capital of fun. Feb 1st & 2nd are the dates and you can find out more from our student member Jenna.
March
This spring we're kicking off the topic based meetings with an afternoon looking at the queer angles of parenting, from turkey basters to teenagers, this meeting will bring together a range of speakers to share experiences and knowledge on parenting the pink way. Date and details to follow.
April
GLADD AGM Dinner - Brighton
The GLADD AGM Dinner is going down to the south coast this year, details of speaker and venue to follow shortly.
May
Getting Involved
This topic based meeting is going to bring together a range of members who have got involved in their local communities to share some of the highs and lows of volunteering and getting political. Date and venue to be confirmed.
