LGBT History Month

GLADD organises a panel debate on the 8th Feb on the NHS provision of services for LGBT people in London as part of the LGBT History Month on behalf of the Department of Health and the Greater London Authority. For more information email LGBTHealthUK@aol.co.uk

National LGBT Health Summit

GLADD has joined the steering group for the 2007 National LGBT Health Summit which will be in Manchester on the 20th & 21st August - more info at www.lgbthealth.co.uk

GLADD on the Political Front in 2007

GLADD took part in a series of high level meetings with PMETB, NHS Employers and the Department of Health on sexual orientation and gender identity issues. GLADD Co-Chair Dr Justin Varney was part of the Department of Health Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Advisory Group which commissioned work on homophobia in the NHS, resources for Trans Youth and an evidence base on LGBT Health.
